The program described in the posting from Mr. Leonard is part of the proposed reform efforts in New Hampshire.
The idea that students should be ready for at least community college programs, without remediation, by the end of 10th grade, makes a lot sense. The remainder of high school is then open to other programs such as joint college/high school courses, AP courses, technical programs, internships, and supporting students that haven’t met the standards yet.
