The Rochester School District continues to reduce the drop out rate. 

In the 2009-2010 school year we had 33 students drop out.  Of those 33, 17 earned their GED’s.  They still count as drop outs, but are considered completers. 

We had 29 students from SHS and 4 from BCA drop out.

Of the 29 students at SHS, 17 earned their GED’s.

Only 16 students dropped out without graduating or completing their GED.

In the 2008-2009 school year, 54 students dropped out.  

In the 2007-2008 school year, 103 students dropped out. 

In two years, a reduction from 103 to 33, and only 16 students left school without a diploma or GED.
