Opening Keynote Address: Sustaining Lasting Change: Mobilizing Thousands Toward Student-Centered Learning
Craig Kielburger, Co-Founder of Free The Children, Me to We Day

Mobilizing sustainable and holistic systemic change in education requires strong leadership, a shared vision of the future, and the abilityto  build capacity to dramatically improve the learning environments of all students. In his opening keynote address, Craig will inspire and
challenge our thinking on leading worldwide systemic change in education through the use of social media.

As co-founder of a family of organizations dedicated to shifting the world from ‘me’ to ‘we,’ Craig will share insights from his journey of providing holistic and sustainable education, clean water, health care, food security and alternative income programs in eight developing countries. In 1995 at 12 years of age, Craig co-founded Free The Children. He has since built one of the largest social media followings in the world with 3.6 million followers, mobilizing thousands of youth to reach out and help others. He will share his story of empowering others, reminding us that it only takes one person to make a powerful difference in the world today.
